Job Title: Lead Solution Architect
Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: From £70,000 dependent on experience, plus car allowance and bonus.
What you'll be doing:
1. Optimize architecture solutions against schedules, scope, sequence, requirements, strategic objectives, cost elements, and supportability.
2. Influence at all levels from Director to Subject Matter Experts, leveraging a team of experts and leading other architects to gain agreement on architectures and solutions.
3. Design and implement enterprise-level solutions leveraging the latest SIEMENS CAD & PLM software.
4. Integrate into existing CAM, MES, and ERP solutions supporting quality, testing, construction, and manufacturing processes.
5. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors to meet BAE's Submarine programme needs.
6. Work with technology and software partners to resolve complex technical issues.
7. Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, aligning business demand and strategy with industry practices, solution components, and decisions.
8. Manage governance processes to ensure that the solution build matches architecture and design review quality criteria.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experience as a CAD and PLM Consultant/Architect supporting large engineering programmes.
* Experience with architecture repository tools like Enterprise Architect and architecture modeling frameworks.
* Strong communication skills at all levels and during business change events.
Desirable:
* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools supporting agile methodologies.
* Experience with SAP and PEO product suites or similar for large manufacturing projects.
