* Using templates to record assessments, collecting photographic evidence and preparing and proofreading detailed reports
* Advising clients on improving the level of risk, or persuading them of the need for risk improvement programmes.
* Developing relationships with customers and follow up on advice given within the risk management report
* Accompanying Account Executives on site visits and to assist with training and development.
* Liaising with other professionals, e.g. underwriters, brokers, client representatives, inspectors of health and safety and fire officers.
* Keeping up to date with technical aspects affecting risks, e.g. trade processes, legislation, hazardous materials.
* Undertaking Health and Safety management and guidance within the Group
Requirements:
* Qualified to minimum
NEBOSH Diploma
level (or equivalent) in occupational health and safety
* Experience ideally within a consultancy/ surveying environment and across varied risks

Training takes place on the job and through in-house training programmes, distance learning and some external training.
You will also focus on leading, motivating and training team members. Keeping up to date with recent technological and legal developments and disseminating these is a key part of this role. You will specialise in operational or technical risk and deal with larger and more complex cases as required.
It is essential that you have experience in a Risk Management position gained within a broking, consultancy or industry environment.
