Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Beauty Therapist role based in Chigwell. The Beauty Therapist will deliver a range of beauty treatments, including skincare services, hair removal, and other salon-based therapies, while ensuring a relaxing and professional client experience. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, assessing client needs, recommending suitable treatments and products, and maintaining accurate treatment records. The role involves upholding hygiene and safety standards, preparing treatment rooms and equipment, and ensuring all services comply with clinic protocols and industry best practices. The Beauty Therapist will also support retail sales by advising clients on skincare and beauty products, providing aftercare guidance, and contributing to a welcoming, customer-focused environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Professional beauty therapy qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, VTCT, ITEC or equivalent).
* Experience performing beauty treatments including facials, waxing, eyebrow threading, eyebrow tinting, eyelash tinting, lash extensions, manicures, pedicures, and skincare consultations.
* Knowledge of skincare products, skin analysis, and facial treatments, with the ability to recommend suitable treatments and aftercare.
* Competent in maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety procedures.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and provide a welcoming experience.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy salon environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality treatments and customer satisfaction.
* Previous experience with advanced facial treatments, massage therapies, or aesthetic beauty services would be advantageous but not essential.
