We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and nurture children at the very start of their learning journey. Beginning April 2025.
Duties as Reception Year Teacher:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s curiosity and development.
* Assess, track and record pupil progress, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
* Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
* Promote the school’s ethos and contribute to the wider school community.
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching within Early Years, ideally in Reception.
* A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills as Reception Year Teacher.
* A caring, creative and flexible approach to teaching.
