Day to day duties of the role
* Assisting the Engineering Teaching Staff in the management of workshops and laboratories.
* Organising and providing the safe storage, usage, and working of all materials and equipment by both staff and students, in conformity with Health and Safety regulations.
* Assisting staff in the management and purchase of resources and equipment.
* Safely setting up and preparing learning activities, and designing equipment for use by students and staff.
Required skills and qualifications
* Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Engineering.
* Up to date knowledge of Engineering practices.
* Highly motivated.
* Generous holiday entitlement.
* 2‑week Christmas closure.
