About MoneyGram Haas F1 Team
2025 marks the tenth season of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. We are a team that challenges the status quo and aims for continuous growth. As the first American F1 team since 1986, we made a memorable debut in 2016 and have since demonstrated progress, including our second-best season to date.
We are a racing team, not just a corporate entity, with three headquarters in Kannapolis, US; Banbury, UK; and Maranello, Italy. Position Overview
This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based in Kannapolis, NC. The Accounting Analyst is vital to the finance team, handling accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and general ledger transactions following best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Collaboration: Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
2. Accounts Payable: Manage vendor setup, invoice processing, resolving queries, statement reconciliations, and payments; prepare payment proposals.
3. Accounts Receivable: Handle customer setup, invoicing, resolving invoice issues, statements, and collections.
4. Treasury: Administer payments, record bank entries, reconcile bank statements, manage general ledger entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Additional Duties: Support credit card and expense reporting, assist with ERP upgrades, prepare audit documentation, ensure safety compliance, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have a college degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
* Understanding of role-specific processes.
* Experience with Microsoft D365 is preferred.
* Ability to work under pressure, in teams, with a positive attitude, and attention to detail.
Equipment & Environment
Must have a computer with Microsoft Office and D365. The role involves working in a high-pressure environment, with potential travel and flexible hours. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working in environments with machinery, race cars, and hazardous materials. Compliance with health and safety policies is mandatory.
