Your Role Includes
* Leading an engineering team (or teams) responsible for a set of associated services and customer outcomes.
* Driving team ownership of their services and the processes used to deliver them.
* Ensuring the team’s people are set up for success, including hiring new talent and coaching team members.
* Collaborating with partners in teams such as Product, Operations and Security to plan future roadmaps, prepare initiatives and execute effectively.
* Improving the team’s security posture and quality practices to maintain reliable and secure services.
* Managing 24/7 support when necessary and taking rapid action to issues, including ensuring post‑incident actions are identified and completed efficiently.
What You’ll Bring
* Experience successfully leading software development teams and knowledge of effective team models.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence other teams, partners and stakeholders.
* Good technical skills, exposure to Azure, C#, SQL and related technologies or closely aligned alternatives.
* People‑focused, skilled at coaching the team to high performance.
* A continuous‑improvement mindset, identifying opportunities and developing strategies to enhance team, processes and technical capabilities.
* Strong understanding of agile and lean development practices and how to apply them within a complex environment.
* Experience implementing CI/CD, managing cloud‑based capabilities and improving delivery flow.
