Nationwide Recruitment Service (NRS) has two exciting new roles for National / Regional Sales, Business Development Managers.
Locations:
1. Midlands and Northwest/Northeast
2. Bristol, Southwest, Wales, and Ireland
Ideally, candidates should have an innovative and motivational technical sales background within a manufacturing and supply business. You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and driven, playing a pivotal role in expanding our clients' customer base and driving sales growth. The focus is on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leveraging market expertise to align with our long-term strategic ambitions.
Compensation:
* OTE: £80,000 (including commission and car)
* Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + car allowance
* Bonus/Commission: £8,000 - £10,000 if targets are met on bookings (uncapped)
* Additional benefits: Generous car scheme, pension, health schemes, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Intake
* Travel across your region to deliver sales above budgeted targets.
* Generate a long-term pipeline of projects and opportunities.
* Self-generate new business and projects without reliance on leads.
* Lead sales initiatives and devise growth strategies based on customer needs and market intelligence.
* Create and manage forecasts weekly, monthly, and annually.
* Support marketing teams with input for campaigns and collateral.
* Visit customers and attend/support exhibitions.
Technical Skills
* Develop and expand technical knowledge of products and services.
* Build sector knowledge and a professional network.
* Maintain proficiency in CRM systems.
* Seek continuous improvement in company procedures and policies.
Commercial Skills
* Maximize ROI and profitability, maintaining financial responsibility at quoting stage.
* Develop and present commercial offerings to enable sales growth.
* Collaborate with product teams for commercial viability and product selection.
* Act as the voice of the customer and promote a customer-centric culture.
