We’re hiring, and looking for a Technical & Design Co-ordinator to join our team. You’ll lead the creation and development of product samples for the defence market, helping us secure top technical scores in tender bids.
What You’ll Do
* Manage sample development from concept to approval.
* Interpret tender documents and guide manufacturing teams.
* Create garment specifications, CAD drawings, and technical documentation.
* Research market trends and competitor designs.
* Source fabrics, trims, and packaging for samples.
* Communicate with accredited test houses to qualify selected fabrics.
* Ensure quality standards are met and submissions are on time.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in apparel/technical textiles.
* CAD proficiency and garment spec expertise.
* Strong communication and organisation skills.
* Detail-driven with a passion for quality and innovation.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of garment design, tailoring, or manufacturing processes.
* Experience with industry-standard design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Canva, Clo3D, Browzwear).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Fashion or Textile Design.
* Experience working directly with customers.
* Background in garment technology or quality control.
