You will have the opportunity to step into various classroom settings; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and deliver engaging lessons. The Role Here at Long-Term Teachers, we support schools with Long-Term and Fixed Term needs, from 6 weeks. These opportunities can be Part-Time or Full-Time, working around your commitments and availability. We are looking for candidates who have experience working closely with children and/or young people. You must be a patient and nurturing individual who is passionate about supporting children with their educational and social development. Your role and responsibilities as a teaching assistant will also include: Work collaboratively with Class Teachers Adapt activities to meet the needs of children. Support small group interventions - based on core subjects. Work with SEND children. Challenge children in their work to gain the best learning experiences. What is expected of you Have experience working with children or young people. Keen to influence and engage children in their learning. Bring an enthusiastic and positive attitude Bring creativity to the classroom and share your own ideas.
