Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring all visitors and contractors to site are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site.
* Recording the entry and exit of delivery whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
* Ensuring that patrols are carried out and to the correct standards.
* Setting and unsetting primary and secondary alarm security systems for out of hours security provision if applicable.
* Complying with site waste management procedures.
* Completing documents as required including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site-specific reports.
* Ensuring familiarity with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advising Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve.
* Maintaining own training records via Corps Colleague Portal such that skills remain up to date, and in particular first aid and fire marshal training is in accordance with legislative guidelines.
* Continuously applying SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism. SIA licence must be always displayed.
* Performing ad hoc duties as directed.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
* A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
* A valid SIA CCTV License - desirable
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
* Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
* Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
