What You'll Do
* Develop and maintain Q/KDB+ queries and scripts for data analysis and reporting.
* Build and support Python-based tools for data manipulation and automation.
* Design and manage interactive Tableau dashboards for business insights.
* Write and optimise complex SQL queries (preferably with Impala) against large-scale data warehouses.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver effective BI solutions.
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability in partnership with technology teams.
What You'll Bring
* Financial domain expertise:
Deep understanding of equities data in a sales & trading environment (market data, order/execution data).
* Data wrangling:
Hands-on experience with large datasets, time-series data, and advanced analytics.
* Programming:
Proficiency in Python (Pandas) and Q/KDB+.
* Visualisation:
Strong Tableau skills-able to turn complex data into actionable dashboards.
* SQL mastery:
Advanced SQL skills; Impala experience is a plus.
* BI modelling:
Experience designing and maintaining business intelligence data models.
