Location: Redbridge, East London
Contract: Long-Term (until end of academic year) with view to permanent
Hours: Full-Time

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
About the Role
A high-performing 4-form entry primary school in Redbridge is looking to appoint an experienced and resilient Year 6 Teacher to support pupils through their final year of primary education.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent. You will take full responsibility for planning and delivering the curriculum, including preparing pupils for SATs, while being supported by a strong upper-KS2 leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead high-quality teaching and learning in Year 6
2. Plan and deliver lessons that prepare pupils academically and emotionally for transition to secondary school
3. Track progress closely and implement targeted support where needed
4. Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
5. Work collaboratively within a large Year 6 team in a 4FE setting
Person Specification
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Proven experience teaching Year 6 or upper KS2
8. Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment frameworks
9. Calm, confident and consistent classroom management
10. Committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
