Property Inspector Location: London (South West-based, covering Greater London) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break) About the Role We are a well-established and growing Property Management and Maintenance Company based in South West London. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will carry out a variety of property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high property standards across our managed portfolio. You will work closely with a supportive team to help deliver an excellent experience for residents and clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct building on-boarding inspections for newly managed properties, assessing condition, compliance, and readiness for management Carry out quarterly property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety risks, and compliance issues Perform quarterly fire and flat fire door inspections in line with statutory requirements Prepare accurate and detailed digital inspection reports and maintain proper records of all site visits Liaise with property managers, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of issues Stay up to date with UK building regulations, fire safety legislation, and industry standards Collaborate regularly with your line manager and team to review progress and performance targets Participate in team meetings and departmental performance discussions Requirements Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, health & safety, and fire safety standards Experience identifying and reporting building maintenance or safety issues Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills Proficiency in digital reporting and inspection tools Strong written and verbal communication skills Good knowledge of London, particularly Zones 1–6 Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively What We Offer Competitive salary of £28,000 – £30,000 per annum Training and ongoing professional development Supportive and collaborative team environment Clear career progression opportunities within a growing organisation Eligibility This role supports UK-based employment.
