Senior Account Manager – Managed Services
An experienced Senior Account Manager operating within the Managed Services sector, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients across IT support, infrastructure, cyber security, and cloud services. The role focuses on strategic account development, client retention, and revenue growth through proactive engagement and solution alignment.
Responsibilities
* Drive recurring revenue through upsell and cross-sell opportunities across managed service offerings.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
* Develop client-specific IT roadmaps and service strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Lead contract renewals, amendments, and commercial negotiations to maximise value.
* Conduct regular service reviews to assess performance, identify risks, and present strategic recommendations.
* Collaborate with technical teams to scope, quote, and deliver managed service projects.
* Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to support solution design and delivery.
* Lead client onboarding and discovery sessions to ensure smooth transitions and early value delivery.
* Provide advisory on emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Candidate Profile
* Proven background in account management within IT managed services or technology.
* Strong commercial acumen and a track record of growing recurring revenue.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to present technical concepts in a business-friendly manner.
* Highly organised, proactive, and customer-focused.
* Full UK driving licence.
