We’re currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Lodestone House, contracted to 30 hours per week.
As a Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving fresh, high-quality food that truly brightens our customers’ day. Working within one of the UK’s leading food service companies, you’ll be supported to grow your career in a business that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards those who go the extra mile.
What you’ll be doing
* Preparing delicious, high-quality meals for customers
* Supporting with menu development and new food concepts
* Monitoring stock levels and managing kitchen inventories
* Listening and responding to customer feedback to improve service
* Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
* Ensuring all Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are followed
* Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
What we’re looking for
* Passion for great food and excellent customer service
* City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ, or equivalent qualification
* Experience in a similar Chef role
* Previous team supervision experience
* Food Hygiene certificate
* A flexible and positive approach to working
