Overview
An exciting opportunity to join an established, dynamic End of Life Care Team delivering a comprehensive education programme to meet the needs of our healthcare workforce. Acting as an educational resource, mentor and role-model, you will work alongside clinical teams, providing professional leadership advice and support to foster a learning culture that values high quality patient care.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of Palliative and End of Life Care (EOLC) training and education through a variety of methods, including formal presentations to large groups of staff.
* Excellence in communications, using available methods to build and develop effective networks and processes within the specialist area, the Trust and external organisations.
* Support the implementation of change and the development of the service within the specialist area, leading staff and facilitating the change process while encouraging innovation and adaptability.
* Auditing of EOLC initiatives at local and national levels.
* Collaborate with internal and external clinical educators, the ICB, community healthcare teams and hospice development teams to develop local strategy.
