Traffic Management Operative – Low Speed
Location: Newcastle
Salary : up to £13.13 per hour basic depending on, skills and experience with company benefits,
PLUS: £500 WELCOME BONUS
Hours: 40 hours per week with overtime opportunity.
(Hours and shift patterns tend to fall on days, however you may be also required to work evenings, nights and weekends. You will also be required to be on the on-call rota especially if you have the use of a company van.)

Responsibilities:
The Traffic Management Operative sits at the heart of everything we and you will be responsible for:
1. Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on low-speed roads.
2. Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
3. Maintenance of temporary traffic lights
4. Helping and guiding new trainees
What good looks like for Traffic Management Operative:
5. Unit 2 or M1 / M2 qualified as a minimum
6. Knowledge of Chapter 8
7. Physically fit and able to pass a safety critical worker medical and any other relevant medical assessments your offer will depend on the outcome of this
8. Full UK Driving Licence. Restrictions on points apply for insurance purposes, you’ll need to speak with us if you have more than 6 points on your licence
9. Able to pass a drug and alcohol test your offer will depend on the outcome of this
