Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a specialist education setting supporting students aged 11–16 with Autism, social and emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders, and other associated conditions.
Set in a stunning location with Grade II listed gardens, this is a unique opportunity to teach in an environment that inspires creativity and progress. You’ll deliver engaging Maths lessons up to GCSE level, helping students develop both academic and life skills for their next steps—whether that’s further education, training, or employment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons tailored to individual needs
* Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to create personalised learning plans
* Contribute to reviews of Statements, EHC plans, PEPs, and LAC reviews
* Help shape and develop a dynamic, relevant curriculum
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
* PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
* Ability to teach Entry Level 2 & 3 and GCSE Maths
* Strong communication and planning skills
* Ability to remain calm and reflective in challenging situations
Desirable:
* Experience in specialist education or college settings
* Good IT skills and understanding of how tech supports learning
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to build positive, enabling relationships with students
