Contract Furniture Manufacture in Pontefract are recruiting for a Furniture Spraying Apprentice. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Furniture Finisher apprenticeship over the duration of 18 months.

£16,416 a year
Pay reviewed every 6 months throughout the apprenticeship with opportunities for increase.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
* Assist in preparing furniture surfaces for spraying (sanding, cleaning, masking, etc.)
* Learn to mix and apply various finishes, including paints, stains, and lacquers
* Operate spray equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
* Maintain a clean and organised spray booth and work area
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
* Work closely with the Upholstery Production Manager and team to meet production targets
* Participate in training and development activities as part of the apprenticeship programme
