Salary: Day Drivers: GBP 16.71 first 45hrs, GBP 20.50 over 45hrs per week.
Contract Type: On:going and ad hoc
Driving Assessments to take place on Friday 13th June 2025.
About the Role:
Pertemps are pleased to offer opportunities for Class 1 drivers to work on behalf of our esteemed client based out of their Banbury depot. Covering adhoc booking opportunities. As a driver, you will report directly to the Transport team and be an integral part of ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to company procedures and regulations.
Manage your own working time in line with tachograph rules and regulations.
Conduct daily vehicle checks.
Perform customer deliveries safely and promptly.
Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A valid UK HGV 1 driving licence, held for at least 2 years.
At least 180 days of experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK within the last 2 years.
A maximum of 6 points for minor offences (no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes)
A valid CPC DQC
Excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations
Experience with refrigerated units (preferred but not essential)
