Offer description

Are you a whizz with words? Are you passionate about improving health care access through digital innovation?

We are looking for a content developer to support the creation and growth of our patient‑facing digital platforms and patient portal. You should be a creative, motivated and self‑driven individual who likes to challenge the status quo and has the capacity to engage with staff, external stakeholders, families and young people in order to influence the delivery and promotion of the services.

We will expect you to work as part of our team, demonstrating your ability to take responsibility for the assigned areas of ongoing development, and in return, you’ll be joining a team that values creativity, innovation, and a collaborative spirit and be at the forefront of our digital transformation.

This is a trust‑wide role, and although you will have a local base, the post requires flexibility and travel across the East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust footprint.

Should we receive a high number of applications we reserve the right to close this vacancy at any point after 1st May 2026.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

* Create written and visual content for East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust digital platforms as directed by the digital content leadership team. This will include designing website copy and production of pages within the website content management system.
* Ensure information is accurate, quality assured, and up to date — recognising digital platforms as primary information sources for relevant audiences.
* Identify opportunities for engaging video and animation content and create scripts to support.
* Support the delivery of finalised digital work plans, working to tight deadlines and contributing to future developments.
* Assist in the design and delivery of training programmes that will support staff to be competent and confident with digitalisation and support future innovation.
* Work with the co‑production leads as directed, to ensure that staff and service users are included within the design and development of content.
* Ensure content, pages, materials and images have clear tags, descriptions, summaries, alt text and keywords for SEO in the content management system.
* Support the delivery of events and scoping sessions with staff, patients, service users and external stakeholders.

Rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission, we are proud to provide high quality innovative services across most of the east of England that enable people to receive care closer to home and live healthier lives.

If you share our passion for innovative and high‑quality care delivery, then please submit your application and join us on our exciting journey as a leading‑edge specialist community provider. All are welcome to apply and our promise to you is a culture which prioritises staff engagement and development.
