Senior Building Services Engineer – AtkinsRéalis
Become a vital member of our Project & Programme Services team, proudly taking on some of the world's most exciting and prestigious projects. Join us, and you'll be part of a genuinely collaborative environment where everyone is supported to make the most of their talents. It’s about recognising everyone’s contributions equally while delivering excellence together.
Flexible and remote working are central to our culture, so we’ll talk to you about what’s important to you—from reduced working weeks to additional leave and how we can make reasonable adjustments to support your ambitions outside of work.
You will be joining the Oxford and Cambridge building surveying team, working alongside our building services engineers to grow our current core services such as surveying, project management, compliance and design. You will also work closely alongside our national de‑carbonisation teams based in London, Nottingham, Bristol and Cardiff to support the growth of de‑carbonisation services within the Oxford and Cambridge corridor. This workload includes retrofit and net‑zero carbon advisory services (including baselining and road‑mapping net‑zero interventions), asset and facilities management advisory, environmental rating tools (BREEAM, SKE, Well Building, etc.), carbon management services and post‑occupancy evaluation and building performance.
In addition to building services and de‑carbonisation technical knowledge, the candidate will need to have the ability to think strategically and create a clear vision and strategy for growth. We recognise that few candidates will have detailed knowledge and experience of mechanical systems, electrical systems and de‑carbonisation. You will therefore be supported by our wider organisational expertise, with further training encouraged as part of your personal development and career progression.
