RMSpumptools is seeking an ambitious Maintenance Technician located in Malton, UK. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting the Production department with organising & maintaining test facilities as well as the engineers in the electrical penetrators & connectors engineering division to ensure the safety of the sites and ensure Production equipment is maintained to its full potential.
This role is a part time role - working 3 days per week.

What You Will Do:
* To support the Production department with equipment maintenance and improving manufacturing methods.
o maintenance of shop floor equipment
o Performing the Inspection and servicing of production tooling such as but not limited to;
+ Pressure pumps,
+ Mould tools,
+ Airlines,
+ Heater boxes
+ Compressors
o Minor site maintenance work.
o Support the production department in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
o Work closely with QHSE to ensure all work is undertaken in a safe and controlled manner.
o Assist the Engineering Department on project work or other areas needing mechanical/electrical intervention
Minimum Qualifications:
* HND/equivalent qualification or qualified by experience.
* Safety first mindset
* Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems, ideally including PID controllers.
* Interpersonal qualities, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Willing and able to work as part of a team.
* Confident and resilient in problem solving, critical thinking and decision making to support continuous improvement.
