Junior Clinical Fellow - Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at the QE Hospital, Gateshead, a full‑time Junior Clinical Fellow (equivalent to SHO/F3) is available immediately. The post is for 12 months and provides excellent clinical experience in a full range of Obstetric and Gynaecology services within a supportive team.
Main duties of the job
This post suits anyone interested in pursuing a career in O&G or General Practice. Although it cannot be counted towards specialist training requirements, the post holder will have the same access to clinical supervision, study leave and other learning opportunities as approved training post holders in the department.
Qualifications and Training
* MBBS or equivalent
* BLS or Equivalent
* Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
* Studying towards Part 1 MRCOG
Clinical experience and effectiveness
* Completed Foundation Year 1 level AND 2 in the UK or equivalent
* Recent experience providing services in an NHS setting
* Experience in obstetrics and gynaecology at SHO/Tier 1 level
* Worked at Gateshead in the last 12 months
