Job Description
3. Provide a range of Tax services, managing a private client portfolio, specialising in personal tax across a mix of compliance and advisory work
4. Identify tax sensitive expenditure and wider tax issues
5. Liaising with clients to resolve queries
6. Communicate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met, and overseeing client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met
7. Assist in managing the Private Client Tax team by hearing the voice of your team members, conduct appraisals, provide coaching of assignments to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work
8. Monitor your own utilisation, productivity and WIP
9. Confident providing guidance and feedback to others in the team
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Private Client Tax Manager' should have:
10. A full qualification in Accountancy or Taxation - CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent
11. Proven experience in managing a tax portfolio
12. Excellent client management skills
13. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
14. Superb leadership and mentoring abilities
15. Thorough knowledge of tax laws and regulations
