Nursery Teacher
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Nursery Teacher for a Primary School in Stockport.
The school is a popular Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
The position is open to both NQT’s and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location – Stockport
2. Position – Nursery Teacher
3. Contract or position start date – 13th April 2026
4. Duration / Likely Duration – Until end of the academic year July 2026
5. Contract or position end date – July 2026
6. Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary
7. Full time/part time – Full time
8. Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £170 – £ per day
9. Hours – 8:00 am – 4pm : Mon – Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
10. QTS or equivalent
11. Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
12. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
13. Hold Right to Work in the UK
14. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
15. Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
