Are you an engineering manager or a senior engineer ready to take the step up into an Engineering Manager role? This could be the perfect post for you. With a strong order book and working with an interesting portfolio of customers, this role would suit a hands-on engineer with a strong background of managing small teams and working in highly regulated industries.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the plant manager, this role will see you managing a small team of engineers and toolmakers.
* You will be responsible for the management of the production machinery and facilities on the site.
* PPM planning and CMMS management.
* You will manage the budget for the engineering department.
* Providing training for the engineering department.
* You will occasionally be required to work in a hands-on capacity.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* The successful candidate will come from a background of engineering management or a senior engineering role.
* Apprenticeship trained and electrically biased, ideally multiskilled.
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
