Food and Beverage Supervisor

Heaton House Farm is an award-winning wedding and events venue, regularly featuring as the Best Wedding Barn in the Northwest in The Wedding Industry Awards. We also run The Knot Inn, a wonderful rural food-led pub situated within Rushton Spencer.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team working across both venues primarily at The Knot Inn.
You may have previous experience as an F&B Supervisor or looking to start your career in Hospitality Management. We want someone who wishes to develop their career and learn all the finer details about Hospitality from rostering, gross profit, ordering, stock taking, training junior members of the team, pub management to delivering events from start to finish!

Salary: £28,000 plus benefits plus TRONC
Responsibilities as our Food and Beverage Supervisor will include:
Working closely with other teams to assist with the delivery of events at Heaton House Farm. Your main focus will be on delivering seamless drinks service from drinks reception to wine service and general bar supervision.
Working closely with the back-of-house team to ensure seamless service at The Knot Inn
Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, you will ensure all front-of-house operations run smoothly
Train and supervise the team to ensure a fantastic guest experience
Closing down procedures, including locking up
Ensuring that the venues are always clean and presentable
Cellar management
Stock control, including stock rotation, maintenance of stock, and assisting with ordering
Duty manager while on shift and deal with any issues that may arise
Our Hospitality Supervisor will come equipped with the following qualities:
A passion for hospitality
A good level of experience working in a busy restaurant or bar
Very strong customer service focus with the desire to provide an outstanding level of service to all guests
Flexible and adaptable
Knowledge of health and safety including fire marshal and evacuation procedures
The role is part time or full time and permanent based upon 40 hours per week. You will need to be flexible as you will work 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays.
