Experience required...
Essential:
* UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
o Experience in leading technical teams within a public infrastructure or highways context.
o Chartered Engineer status (or working toward it), with expertise in bridges or large civil structures.
o Managing complex engineering projects, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders.
o Proficient in developing and implementing asset management plans for bridges, interpreting data for strategic investment and budgeting, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards throughout the asset lifecycle.
o Experience with contracts and procurement processes.
o Working within a political and multi-agency environment.
o Clear, confident communication with a strong focus on collaboration and results.
o Adapting to change and promoting best practice in engineering risk, design standards, and statutory compliance.
o A full UK driving licence
