Amour Recruitment is seeking Logistics Operatives to work for a company based in Portsmouth.
This role is initially offered on a 3-month contract and would suit someone who is available to start immediately.
Duties include:
1. Carrying out goods-in duties, including inspecting incoming deliveries for damage, defects, and compliance with purchase orders.
2. Checking outbound shipments to ensure correct quantities, labelling, and packing standards are met.
3. Picking stock for dispatch, checking inventory, and packing goods ready for shipping.
4. Asset tagging new customer stock prior to storage in the warehouse.
5. Carrying out other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Senior Management Team.
Personal requirements:
6. Understanding of health and safety risks within a warehouse environment.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Willingness to work flexibly and undertake a variety of tasks.
9. Physically fit and comfortable standing for long periods (no heavy lifting required).
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Hours - Monday to Friday- 09:00 – 17:30
Salary - £13.00 per hour
