Salary: £37,500 per annum + £5,000 Welcome Bonus

About the Role
Are you an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Nurse looking to work in a supportive environment where teamwork, kindness, and professional growth are at the heart of what you do?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-built Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) unit providing specialist inpatient care for young people aged 13–18 with a range of complex mental health needs.
As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care that truly makes a difference to the lives of vulnerable young people. You’ll be supported in developing your specialist skills, advancing your career, and maintaining your wellbeing through a strong culture of professional and personal support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to young people within the service.
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with the wider clinical team.
* Support and mentor colleagues, promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Skills & Experience
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration.
* Completion of Preceptorship.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A compassionate, flexible, and proactive approach to care delivery.
* Commitment to high standards of clinical practice and professional development.

This modern inpatient unit provides general adolescent care and treatment for young people with a primary diagnosis of mental illness, including mood disorders, psychosis, and co-occurring neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism or mild learning disabilities. The service promotes recovery, resilience, and hope for young people and their families.
