Overview:
Are you an experienced residential support worker looking to take the next step in your career? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a highly regarded 2 bed children’s residential home in Seaford. You’ll play a key leadership role in a therapeutic home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Working 3 x shifts per week plus regular sleep-in duties, this role offers a stable rota, progression potential, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example in delivering high-quality, child-centred care
Support the daily operations of the home in partnership with the Deputy and Registered Manager
Act as a role model and mentor for junior support staff
Foster safe, nurturing relationships that help children feel secure and valued
Support education, routines, and independent living skills
Monitor and maintain safeguarding, care plans, and home records
Contribute to team meetings and service development
Requirements:
Experience working in a residential children’s care setting
A compassionate and resilient approach to supporting young people
Strong understanding of safeguarding, EBD, and trauma-informed care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work long shifts and sleep-ins
Minimum age of 21 (due to legislative care requirements)
