My client is a leading international freight forwarder, known for delivering seamless logistics solutions across air, sea, and road. As we expand our operations, we're seeking a Customs Broker who can confidently handle CDS entries and play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across borders.
Key Responsibilities
Complete accurate and timely customs entries via CDS, including import/export declarations
Liaise with HMRC, port authorities, and clients to resolve queries and ensure compliance
Monitor and maintain customs records in line with UK/EU regulations
Work closely with operations and warehouse teams to ensure goods are cleared efficiently
Keep up to date with evolving customs regulations and tariff changesWhat We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Customs Broker in a freight forwarding or logistics environment
Strong knowledge of the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) and CHIEF system transition
Familiarity with Incoterms, commodity codes, and duty/tax calculations
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
