Title: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: North Dublin
Type: Full-time, permanent, Hybrid/On-site-based
Package: €80,000 DOE
An experienced Senior Structural Engineer is sought to join a busy Asset Management and Design team. The role will involve overseeing structural inspections, managing refurbishment and new construction projects, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the inspection, certification, and lifecycle planning of structural assets and temporary works.
* Deliver structural designs and manage related construction projects to time and budget.
* Maintain and develop the asset management database and inspection programmes.
* Oversee and manage consultants, contractors, and site activities.
* Support environmental compliance and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
* Promote and apply health and safety standards in design and project delivery.
* Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and development of engineering processes.
* Provide guidance to junior engineers and support staff development.
* Represent the organisation at meetings and events when required.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
* Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 or above); Chartered Engineer status desirable.
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in structural design, asset management, or infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety, environmental compliance, and public procurement processes.
* Proficient in engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD, structural analysis tools) and asset management systems.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
