The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to take full ownership of health, safety, environmental and quality performance across our Civils & Infrastructure business, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
This is a hands-on, operational leadership role in a high-tempo environment that delivers around 60 projects per month. You will have the autonomy to shape how HSEQ is applied on the ground, adapting systems and controls to suit varied works while maintaining robust standards. If you enjoy being visible, trusted and accountable, and want a role where your decisions directly influence how work is planned, delivered and reviewed, then this is an opportunity to make a tangible difference every day.
What You'll Be Doing
Owning and leading the integrated HSEQ Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
Providing clear, practical HSEQ leadership across multiple live civils and infrastructure projects, supporting teams to apply controls proportionately and effectively
Building and sustaining a positive safety culture through regular site engagement, coaching and consistent standards
Managing risk processes including RAMS, inspections, audits and incident investigations, ensuring learning is embedded and shared
Driving environmental and quality performance, including sustainability initiatives, compliance monitoring and ownership of key registers and KPIs
Who you are
You are an experienced HSEQ leader who is comfortable taking accountability for outcomes in a complex, multi-site operation. You prefer working close to delivery teams, providing guidance that reflects real site conditions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. You are organised, pragmatic and confident in prioritising your time across competing demands.
You'll have experience overseeing HSEQ across multiple sites and avaried project types
You'll have practical knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
You take pride in your strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence behaviours positively
You've experience investigating incidents, analysing trends and translating insight into improvement actions
We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.
