We’re recruiting for a KS1 Primary Teacher at Red Kite School in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire.
Position: KS1 Primary Teacher
Location: Red Kite School, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, HP27 0JW
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8am-4pm
Start Date: October 2025

As part of our growth, we are looking for a KS1 Primary Teacher to join our team at Red Kite School, a specialist environment focused on pupil voice, wellbeing and personal development.
Responsibilities
* Teach a range of subjects across the KS1 curriculum, adapting content to meet individual needs.
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that promote progress and independence.
* Support pupils with a wide variety of additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families.
* Take the lead on a curriculum area across the school (subject to discussion at interview).
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and leaders to ensure consistent, pupil-centred support.
Who We're Looking For
* Qualified with QTS and educated to degree level.
* Experienced or keen to work in SEN/ASC settings (experience desirable but not essential).
* Innovative, engaging, and creative in teaching approach.
* Calm, resilient, and able to respond flexibly to challenges.
* Committed to promoting pupil voice, safety, and wellbeing at all times.
* Motivated to empower vulnerable young people to thrive.
