Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer
Job Type: Days based, Perm
Location: Poole
Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-2pm Fri
Pay: £38,000 - £41,000
Our client is a well-established family run business that have been operating over 50 years. Due to continued success and a ever-growing order book, they’re looking for a CNC Turner Programmer.
Your main responsibilities will involve;
* Reading & understanding engineering drawings.
* (programming if able) Setting & Operating a range of Doosan Lynx & Puma CNC Machines.
* Using Fanuc Operating Systems.
* Following work instruction sheets to aid setting.
* Amend work instruction sheets with updated/additional information.
* Changing of Tips/Cutters.
* Experience of Twin Turrets / Spindles / XY an advantage
* Producing parts to ISO9001 Standard.
* Editing of Programs to make slight adjustments (Speeds/Feeds).
* Tolerance Control to maintain drawing specifications.
* Inspecting own work before submitting in for first off inspection.
* 5S and Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping.
* Adhering to Health & Safety.
Your skills and qualifications as a skilled CNC Turner;
* Experience of Setting & Operating of CNC Machines is essential. Programming would be an advantage
* Able to use Fanuc Operating System (Offset Alterations/Tool Setting/Program Editing).
* Mazak Experience is also advantageous (Not Required)
* At least 2 years CNC Experience

* Overtime 1.33x first 2 hours / 1.5x remaining hours (weekends available)
