We are supporting a high-performing secondary school in the Bury St Edmunds area that is looking to appoint a committed and ambitious Science Teacher (ECT) from January. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an Early Career Teacher seeking a structured and well-supported start.
The Role
You will teach KS3 and KS4 Science, delivering lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics that promote curiosity, confidence, and strong foundational understanding. The department uses a clear and consistent curriculum model, enabling ECTs to develop effective classroom routines quickly.
You will be supported through a comprehensive ECT induction programme, including regular mentoring meetings, protected CPD time, and a reduced teaching load during your first year.
