Role Overview
This is a pivotal role at the heart of Fintel, providing high-level strategic and operational support to the CEO. You will act as a trusted adviser, confidante, and facilitator, ensuring the CEO’s time is optimised for maximum business impact. This role is more than diary management—it requires commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate complexity. You will work closely with the executive team ensuring seamless coordination of their priorities, activities and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support & Operations
* Diary management - proactively manage the Executive team’s schedule, ensuring prioritisation of key business matters and resolving conflicts as they arise
* Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for meetings with stakeholders, investors, and the board.
* Prepare correspondence, ensuring timely responses and effective delegation where appropriate.
* Support executive-level meetings, setting agendas, capturing actions, and ensuring follow-through.
* Act as a liaison both internally and externally, maintaining a sense of professionalism and collaboration at all times
Other Business Support
* Provide strategic administration and project management support to the Executive Team
* Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment across the leadership team
* Support corporate communications, and board-level engagements if required
What youll need to succeed
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as an established / experienced plc Executive Assistant
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as a member of cross-functional teams
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to take ownership of multiple projects
* Be flexible in terms of responsibilities and responsiveness with a positive “can do” attitude
* Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and emotional intelligence
* Ability to prioritise different projects, exercise strong business judgment, meet deadlines and manage multiple requests
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build rapport with internal and external partners
* Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and a natural flair for tech and systems
Desirable
* Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
* Understanding of financial services, regulatory landscapes, and corporate strategy.

Location
This is a hybrid role based from our Huddersfield office. Youll need to be comfortable working from there 3 times each week.
