We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Skills Coach to be part of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre Training Centre Team.
You will join the delivery team and will be responsible for the teaching and training, coaching and assessment of Engineering Apprenticeships from level 3 through to level 7 of the Apprenticeship programme. This role will be permanently based at Sheffield Forgemasters, in their new machining workshop.

Responsibilities
* Teach, train, coach and assess Engineering Apprenticeships from level 3 to level 7 of the Apprenticeship programme.
* Deliver on-site training and assessment of engineering apprentices at Sheffield Forgemasters.
* Carry out training, assessment and coaching of engineering apprentices on site, and deliver short CPD courses as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Be qualified to Level 3 in engineering (BTEC/NVQ/C&G/HNC) and/or relevant experience.
* Significant experience of technical work in a machining (CNC) engineering setting with knowledge of modern machine cutters and methods.
* Hold teaching and assessing qualifications.
* Competent in the use of IT such as laptops, tablets and smartphones and software, such as Elearning portfolios. Strong customer interaction skills, including good oral and written communication.
* Ability to produce, organise and deliver assessment resources and related work activities.
