The Works Supervisorrole
A member of the projectteam reporting to the Works Manager, you will be responsible fororganisation and coordination of works operations and procedures,to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and safety inboth the pre-construction and construction phases of theproject. As a works Supervisor at Sellafield, you will require aproven track record in Steel-fixing from your tradeback-ground.
The role will requireeffective communication with all present within the project team toensure full responsibility to achieving all aspects of BuildSure.
Manage anddirect the construction-based logistics, plan for materials orders,sub-contractor and plant availability.
Ensurecompliance with statutory and company procedures, across allfunctions including quality, health and safety andenvironmental.
A goodunderstanding in managing the delivery of steel fixing operationsinclusive of reading of bar schedules, drawings and coupleruse.
An abilityto manage complex logistical site conditions and trade interfacesworking with Joiners, fixers and scaffolders to deliver RC worksthrough substructure to superstructure.
Yourprofile:
Extensivework experience within the ConstructionIndustry.
Experiencein managing many stakeholders within alive environment.
Provenworking experience of supervising on siteworks.
Goodknowledge of building products, construction details, relevantrules and regulations and quality standards
A goodunderstanding of all facets of the constructionprocess
Assist thePackage Engineers to the applicable procedures and approved MethodStatements, Risk Assessments, Inspection & Test Plans andexperience in FV and the quality processes.
