Health and Safety Advisor
Location : Bordon, Hampshire (with travel to sites)
Hours: Monday to Friday, full:time
Salary: 40,000 : 45,000 (depending on experience)

This role would suit someone who has recently gained their NEBOSH qualification or is working towards it and is looking to build hands:on experience within a busy, multi:site environment.
You must be a driver to travel to sites.
The role
As Health and Safety Advisor, you will support the Head of Compliance with the day:to:day running of health and safety across the business.
This is a varied and hands:on role, involving site visits, risk assessments, training support, and ensuring compliance with current legislation. Youll play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture while developing your own knowledge and experience.
Key responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of health and safety policies and procedures Assist with conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near:misses Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance Help deliver health and safety training to staff Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation Monitor health and safety performance and highlight areas for improvement Liaise with internal teams and external bodies where required Support emergency procedures and general H and S administration
About you
NEBOSH General Certificate (or currently working towards) Some experience in a health and safety or similar role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Proactive and willing to learn Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
IOSH membership Experience within facilities management or a similar environment Any additional H and S related qualifications (e.g. fire safety, first aid)
