This post is for 1 wte permanent Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for East Renfrewshire Tier 3 CAMHS team. Newly qualifying or soon to qualify Psychologists are welcome to apply. We would prefer to fulfil the full hours but applicants requiring less hours will be considered. You will be expected to be involved in the delivery and governance of psychological therapies in the service and to work with other senior clinicians and the service manager to manage waiting times and deliver a high quality clinical service in line with Scottish Government Local Delivery Plan waiting times. You will be part of a grouping of more than 100 psychologists in Specialist Childrens Services and of around 350 psychologists in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board. There are good links both to the West of Scotland Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme (University of Glasgow) and to the MSc in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People (University of Edinburgh).
