Mobile Electrician – Commercial Testing – Slough / Watford / High Wycombe
£44,000 plus vehicle and overtime @x1.5
My client, one of the UK's leading compliance and electrical testing specialists, are seeking a Mobile Electrician with experience of Commercial Testing with a particular focus on commercial projects.
Responsibilities
* Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
* Carry out remedial electrical works in commercial spaces, including performing routine testing and diagnosing faults
* Complete small installations and minor upgrades as required
* Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices
* Liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works
* Work unsociable hours, including weekends, nights, and overnight, with enhanced overtime rates
* Be flexible across shifts and regionally travel (Slough, St Albans, High Wycombe, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Luton, Stevenage, Maidenhead, West London, Hertfordshire)
Qualifications
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Certification
* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card)
* Proven experience in electrical testing (EICRs) and remedial works in commercial environments
* Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards
* Good problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused approach
* Flexible approach to unsociable working hours and regional travel as required
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to use a company vehicle
