The role
Edward Mellor Auction are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development & Partnerships Manager to identify, develop and grow strategic partnerships that generate revenue, strengthen our market position and enhance the customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into measurable commercial success. Working closely with Senior Leadership and key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships and new revenue streams. What you will be doing: Identifying and securing new commercial partnerships and revenue opportunities. Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospective partners. Developing strategic relationships with industry contacts, suppliers, technology providers and professional organisations. Negotiating partnership agreements and delivering mutually beneficial outcomes. Collaborating with internal teams to successfully launch and maximise partnership opportunities. Managing partnerships from initial discussions through to implementation and ongoing performance. Tracking performance, ROI and growth against agreed targets and KPIs. What we are looking for: Proven experience in business development, partnerships, account management or a commercial role. A track record of delivering revenue growth and building successful business relationships. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities. Excellent communication, networking and stakeholder management skills. A confident negotiator who can influence and build credibility at all levels. Highly organised, proactive and results-focused. Experience using CRM systems and managing pipelines is advantageous.
