Salary: £180 – £220 per day (paid to scale)

About the School:
This special academy caters to up to 176 students aged 11-19 with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). Rated Outstanding by Ofsted and holding the National Autistic Society Advanced Accreditation, the academy provides a positive, inclusive environment where students with SEMH and ASC thrive academically and emotionally. Their tailored education and specialized support help students grow and build confidence.
Responsibilities:
* Understand the academic abilities of all students and adapt lesson plans accordingly at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. A-Level teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
* Ensure students’ active participation in lessons and encourage whole school participation, such as extracurricular activities.
* Use all available resources to deliver high-quality and engaging lessons.
* Promote partnership working to increase and share best practices.
Candidate Requirements:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
* Have a relevant maths-oriented degree at 2:2 or higher.
* Provide two teaching references from within the last 2 years.
* Be up to date with the GCSE grading system.
* Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
