The Senior Business Analyst supports the delivery of IT and business process changes within their area of the organisation, reporting directly to the Business Solutions Manager. This role ensures alignment with Leasys UK organisational goals, focusing on identifying and implementing business requirements and process improvements. It plays a key role in managing business systems and applications, with a focus on maximising efficiency, driving innovation, and supporting data-led change across business operations.
The main responsibilities include:
* Team Development: Lead and support Business Analysts and other team members through mentoring, coaching, and objective setting.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT systems with business objectives.
* Project Delivery: Support the management and delivery of IT changes in line with defined business requirements.
* Process Improvement: Identify and drive business process improvements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
* Documentation & Training: Contribute to the development of business process documentation and provide training on new or updated processes and systems.
* ITIL Process Support: Assist in the improvement of ITIL-aligned processes, including Change Management, Release Management, and Service Validation and Testing.
* Team Development: Support the IT Operations team through provision of technical application second line support for incidents.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
* Stakeholder Management: Capable of building strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
* Problem Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions based on business analysis.
* Business Analysis Expertise: Experience in business analysis, particularly in process mapping and requirements gathering.
* Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Customer-Focused: Focused on delivering value through efficient and effective IT solutions.
* Regulatory Compliance: Awareness of regulatory frameworks affecting the UK vehicle leasing, rental, and fleet sectors, including Financial Conduct Authority.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Degree-educated in IT, Business, or a related discipline.
* Considerable experience in IT change management and business analysis.
* ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent).
* BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis (or equivalent).
* Sofico Miles Functional Training and Miles Configuration Training (or equivalent experience).
* Experience with Agile methodologies and IT project delivery.
* Salesforce Certified Administrator certification desirable.
* Lean Six Sigma certification desirable.
* Additional qualifications in project or change management (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM, or BCS Advanced Business Analysis) are advantageous.
* Experience with business applications such as Sofico Miles, Miles Fleet and Retailer modules, E-Commerce solutions, and BI tools.
* Familiarity with Salesforce and Amazon Connect CTI, or similar cloud contact centre solutions.
* Solid technical foundation, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with cloud technologies and basic integration between IT systems.
