We're on the lookout for confident and experienced education professionals to step into high-impact High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles at our welcoming, inclusive primary schools in Dartford, starting after the October half term. This is not your typical classroom support role, as a designated HLTA, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality teaching across the school. Key Responsibilities: Stepping in to lead lessons across all year groups (EYFS to Year 6), using pre-prepared planning to deliver meaningful learning in the teacher's absence Providing focused, small-group support and interventions that help children make real progress Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) both in and outside of the classroom, helping to ensure every child thrives Getting hands-on with planning, assessment, and classroom organisation, working closely with teachers to enhance daily teaching and learning Collaborating across the whole school team, including class teachers, SENCOs, and support staff, to deliver high-quality education for all pupils What We're Looking For: A recognised HLTA qualification or significant experience working confidently at HLTA level The ability to lead whole-class learning across a range of year groups with confidence and enthusiasm Flexibility and adaptability, with a can-do attitude that thrives in a busy school environment Experience supporting children with SEN (highly desirable) Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Up-to-date safeguarding training or a willingness to complete it prior to starting Please contact Rita at Academics Rochester, successful and shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 48 hours
