Overview
Grant Thornton’s CFO Solutions provides strategic, transformation and execution support for CFOs through a variety of services including finance consultancy and finance placements. The Finance Placements team focuses on delivering on‑demand, project‑focused accounting services, deploying interim finance professionals into client finance teams to navigate periods of change and challenge.
Key responsibilities
* Work alongside client finance teams, often in diverse organisations ranging from SMEs to multi‑billion corporations
* Prepare half and full‑year‑end accounts, audit liaison and monthly management accounts
* Group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting
* Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or other international GAAP
* Prepare year‑end statutory accounts and coordinate audits
Skills and qualifications
* Fully qualified member of a professional accounting body such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
* Experience working within a company with annual turnover of at least £50m+, ideally within a listed FTSE business and/or a Top 20 practice
* Experience of half and full‑year‑end accounts preparation, audit liaison and monthly management accounts
* Group accounts consolidation and intercompany accounting
* Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP or other GAAP
* Preparation of year‑end statutory accounts and audits
